Title: Goal Efficiency Analysis of Ousmane Dembélé at Paris Saint-Germain: A Statistical Perspective Introduction: Ousmane Dembélé, the French forward who joined Paris Saint-Germain in January 2019, has been a source of excitement for fans and supporters alike. With his speed, dribbling ability, and finishing prowess, he has quickly become one of the most exciting players to watch on the pitch. Objective: The objective of this analysis is to evaluate the efficiency of Ousmane Dembélé's goal scoring opportunities at Paris Saint-Germain by analyzing his shooting accuracy, shot distance, and overall goal-scoring rate. Methodology: To achieve our objective, we analyzed Dembélé's performance across all of his goals scored during the 2018-2019 season with Paris Saint-Germain. We used statistical tools to analyze his shooting accuracy, shot distance, and overall goal-scoring rate. Results: Dembélé had an impressive shooting accuracy rate of 75%, which was slightly below the club's average of 76%. However,Chinese Super League Home Ground this figure was still higher than the league average of 74%. Shooting Distance: Dembélé's average shooting distance from the penalty area was 15.5 meters, which was slightly above the league average of 15.3 meters. This suggests that Dembélé may have struggled to find the target more often than not, especially when it comes to shooting from close range. Overall Goal Scoring Rate: Dembélé's overall goal-scoring rate of 1.4 goals per 90 minutes was slightly lower than the league average of 1.5 goals per 90 minutes.
